Overall assessment of Verona –

We loved Verona and the surrounding area. I had been to Verona way back in 2008, but was in and out so quickly that I didn’t really get a chance to properly explore it. It is fantastic… the town itself is big enough to keep you busy for a few days, and there are tons of good restaurants. And if you venture outside of town, you have more wineries than you can imagine, and Lake Garda with all the cool little towns along the shores. We hope to return at some point and spend more time around Lake Garda.
