central London

Central London is also called the square mile, and as the name suggests, it is smack dab in the middle of London (no need for a map!)

St. Paul’s Cathedral is fantastic… especially the gallery! We walked the 528 steps to get to the tippy top (the Golden Gallery). There are two stops along the way – the Whispering Gallery which is inside the dome and you get incredible views of the interior of the cathedral (no photos allowed) and the Stone Gallery – outdoor views part way between the Golden and Whispering Galleries. It was a workout, but worth every step!

Leadenhall Market is a really cool market in Central London that was the inspiration for Daigon Alley in Harry Potter
