Overall assessment of Tbilisi -

Tbilisi is a great town! If you are adventurous, you should consider visiting. But you must also see other parts of the country so you can get a feel for the whole country and culture. Tbilisi (and all of Georgia) is extremely safe and has an interesting history. The people are incredibly nice and never try to take advantage of tourists. In fact, they like and appreciate tourists (unlike parts of Spain!). We really enjoyed our time there.
